Animal Avenue believes that when you're looking for a new pet, your first stop should be a rescue or shelter.  When you adopt a shelter pet, you get an animal who has been vet checked for common diseases, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.  That can save you hundreds of dollars.  Better yet, you will be saving the life of a well-deserved animal.  Because of our desire to help homeless pets, Animal Avenue is partnering with shelters and rescues in the San Diego area.  Everyone who adopts a homeless pet from a shelter or rescue qualifies to receive a FREE Animal Avenue VIP Card membership for valid for up to one year from the date of the adoption.  Many shelters and rescues will offer the information directly to their adoptive parents, but even if you didn't receive the application when you adopted your pet, you can still participate in this offer.  Just click here to download an application.  You must send a copy of your adoption agreement with your application to qualify.

At the end of you free membership period, you will have the opportunity to renew your membership for the renewal rate of $20.  Renewal if NOT required to take advantage of this offer.

You do not have to adopt your pet from a San Diego rescue or shelter.  ALL adopted pets qualify as long as they were adopted from a registered non-profit agency.  While there are many homeless pets here in the San Diego area, and I strongly encourage you to search here first, there are plenty of deserving animals all over the US that need homes.
